In the article "Towards a New Future Within Tissue Regenerative Medicine" by Ingrid Hagerup, Kamal elaborates on their groundbreaking work, which includes bioprinting, developing optimal scaffolding biomaterials, collaborating with industrial partners, and stem cell biobanking.

The hope is that a new clinical practice will be integrated into Norwegian clinics within eight years, with Haukeland University Hospital serving as the hub for stem cell production.
