The Department of Heart Disease at Haukeland University Hospital offers a course that provides the necessary education and instruction to patients requiring Warfarin. This course allows patients to self-manage their anticoagulant medication.
The work is led by Kjersti Oterhals, member of PROCARD group, and is based on her research work.
