Breaches of the waiting list guarantee
If the deadline you have been given for your assessment/treatment approaches and you have yet to be given an appointment, please contact the hospital to enquire about your appointment.
If the deadline has passed and your assessment/treatment has not started, you can contact HELFO (the Norwegian Health Economics Administration). HELFO is responsible for arranging alternative treatment at a different public or private hospital – even abroad, if necessary.
