In general

Close relationship between civilian blood services, transfusion medicine experts, defense forces and competent authorities, are needed to ensure preparedness for crises and war situations. In the meeting, we invite civilian and military stakeholders to discuss and describe the roadmap towards establishing a Nordic Collaborative Blood Preparedness Program. 

Aim of meeting

To establish a coordinated and sustainable collaborative program to ensure adequate blood supply and preparedness for crisis and war in the Nordic countries.

Practical information

  • For registration, please use this registration form. The form includes hotel reservations. Registration deadline is passed, please contact Anja Scheuner, e-mail: anja.scheuner@helse-vest.no for available day-passes.
  • The venue for the meeting is Solstrand Hotel & Bad. Unfortunately, the hotel is fully booked. Please contact: nokblod@helse-bergen.no for alternative accommodation. 
  • Food during the meeting and dinners are included. 
  • A get-together reception will be held Tuesday evening, and the meeting starts Wednesday morning. 
  • The language in the meeting will be English
