Patient visits

Are you visiting a patient? We can direct you to the different departments and wards in the hospital.

Excess payments

You can pay your excess (card or cash) for outpatient consultations at the reception desk between 07.00 and 21.00. Please note that the outpatient clinics only accept card payments.

Taxi bookings

We are happy to help you book a taxi. Simply speak to one of our receptionists.

The reception in the main hospital building (Sentralblokka)

Open 24 hours and the personell her can also assist you with:

Borrowing a wheelchair: The reception lends out wheelchairs for use in the hospital. You must pay a NOK 200 deposit to borrow a wheelchair.
Chaperones.We can provide a chaperone to escort you to and from outpatient clinics, to x-ray scans and to the Laboratory for Clinical Biochemistry. We can also provide wheelchairs for those who need one.The chaperone service is available between 07.00 and 15.00. The direct line to the chaperone service is 55 97 20 06.

Lockers

We have lockers available for storing personal items. The cost is NOK 20–30 per day depending on the size of the locker.

Lost property

We will keep any lost property and return it to its owner if it has been handed in on the same day or weekend. After that the lost property will be transferred to the Department of Engineering and Operations' customer service centre.
