The association of Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (ACNAP) met from the 2nd to the 5th of May in Milano. Tone Norekvål, board member in ACNAP, was Chair in the Scientific Session “Adjusting care to enhance optimal outcomes in elderly patients.”
• Sønneva Bergtun, poster in the session Atrial Fibrillation – Others. Bergtun’ s research was presented under the title «Experiences up to six months after catheter implantation for atrial fibrillation: a holistic patient perspective».
• Irene Instenes, poster in the session Arrhythmias, Frailty and Advanced Practice. Instenes’ contribution is called «Delirium in hospital elders: common, recognized and undiagnosed». Irene Instenes also won an award for the best Moderated Poster Presentation.
• Eva Torsvik presented a poster in the session Public Health and Health Economics. The tittle of her work is «Patient preference for follow-up method after Radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation».
• Tone Norekvål also had a poster in the session Acute Coronary Syndromes –Treatments. The tittle of Tone Norekvål’s scientific work is «Patients experiences with generic drugs following early post discharge after first-time percutaneous coronary intervention».
