Projects in PROCARD
The projects in PROCARD are multidisciplinary, including researchers and collaborators from different professions and specializations.
The research projects in PROCARD have their main focus on patient-reported data, but they also include clinical data, objective end points have research collaboration at a local, regional, national and international level. The projects presented here are projects where the principal investigator is a PROCARD member.
Research projects
- CONCARD-PCI
Continuity of care, adherence to treatment and self-reported health after percutaneous coronary intervention (CONCARD-PCI): a patient-centered care study from the Norwegian Registry for Invasive Cardiology.
- Evaluation of appropriateness and outcome of in-hospital telemetry monitoring
The telemetry technology has during the last four decades been used for in-hospital detection of arrhythmias, in a diversity of medical and surgical patients. This is still a cornerstone of care in most critical care settings.
- Patient-reported outcomes in patients with aortic stenosis with and without aortic valve replacement
The study is based on self-reported data from patients with aortic stenosis, both those who have undergone surgical treatment and those without. Data are collected using both questionnaires and interviews, in addition to data from patient records.
- Patient-reported outcomes in the Bergen Early Cardiac Rehabilitation Study (BECARESPRO)
This project seeks to investigate patient-reported outcomes in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) in cardiac rehabilitation.
