Department of International Collaboration (DIC) was established in October 2003 and coordinates a steadily increasing number of international projects.
DIC puts special emphasis on participation in work within the hospital medical core functions, including medical technology and organization of medical service. It`s a special challenge to develop the National Centre of tropical medicine.
Haukeland University Hospital is the leading hospital in Norway, doing international work. DIC wish to welcome new employees, both from Haukeland University Hospital (HUH) and from our partner hospitals elsewhere in the world.
Department for International collaboration is financed with funds from Norad, The Norwegian Peace Corps, Ministry of Health and Helse Bergen.
